I think the best way to teach my kids to be healthy, is for me to be healthy. And to make being a healthy a priority in my life. Like exercising several times a week (preferably 5 to 6 for me), eating foods I know are good for my health, and taking care of myself--body, mind, and spirit.
As a mom, if I don't love MYSELF, it will be tough to teach my kids to love themselves. It all starts with me.
